Meet the team #12

Meet the team #12

Kalani is a small team of motivated people who believe that changing things and the way we produce and consume is possible.

So who are the people working to make this project possible? For our twelfth “Meet the team”, we present you Eléa and Jade, our marketing interns (2022).

Why did you choose to do your internship at Kalani?

JADE :

Because I wanted to do my internship in a small company near my home. But most of all I wanted to be in a family business where I would feel at home. Knowing that it was my first professional experience of my curriculum at EPHEC, I really wanted to find an internship that corresponded to my values but also to work in a field that I did not know to open my range of knowledge.

ELEA:

I was attracted by the small size of the company and the ethical and respectful side both environmentally and socially. This is something that is important to me.

What do you take away from this experience?

JADE:

That it’s important to create a trusting relationship with the team so that the work goes smoothly. I was able to develop my skills acquired at EPHEC throughout my internship. It was a first for me to work in the textile sector and I was not disappointed! I think I would go towards this kind of sector for my future job.

ELEA:

Having the opportunity to put into practice a lot of the knowledge I had acquired during my years of study. It allowed me to do a lot of tasks that a product manager would do (according to Bruno 😉 ) but also to develop my creativity.

What was your favorite part of the internship?   JADE:

I don’t have a specific favorite moment because I liked everything during my internship but if I have to say something I particularly liked is when we did the photo shoot with the team. The fact that we took pictures together touched me a lot and especially a lot of fun.

ELEA:

Several moments that I liked: The creation of the real, analyze the Google Analytics tool, but also all the Excel tables on which I had to make recommendations. I realized that I liked everything that was analytical.

What are your plans for the future?

JADE:

To start my master’s degree and then to work a SME in the same genre as Kalani because the closeness I had with the team made me want to have the same thing later on.

ELEA:

Good question! After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in marketing, I’m hesitating between continuing on my way by doing a bachelor’s degree in management sciences, or changing direction and starting other studies… But I still have a few months to decide

In the meantime, I plan to enjoy my summer as a graduate!

What are your favorite Kalani sheets? And why?

JADE:

The embroidered cotton sateen ones 😉

ELEA:

So far I’ve only tested the Jersey sheets, which I love! They are soft and warm. I recommend them x1000

If you had to describe Kalani in 1 word, what would it be?

JADE:

Family owned and operated

ELEA:

Softness

We thank them for the great work and we wish them good luck for the future. It was a pleasure to have you girls !
